Okay, so we had two original plays, right? Laramie Project and Crimes of the Heart. Weeeeeeeeell, friggin stupid children can't be emotionally mature enough to handle Laramie, so instead we got romantic comedy Almost,Maine. For awhile I was aggravated. I mean, I liked Laramie so far. We never even got to finish READING the stupid thing!!
However, Almost,Maine brought it justice. It was downright hysterical. Completely inappropriate in some scenes, and all together an amazing play!!! So...I was psyched for this play. I didn't reeeally care what part I got; I just wanted to be in the damn play!!! (Crimes of the Heart was gay to me. Read a bit, thought it was lame.)
This morning, I go to my teacher asking if she was done with the cast lsit. She informed me that nine people would not be able to be in a play, so she found another one. I didn't really think much of it. I mean, I thought I expressed my love for this play by wanting to read so damn much. My audition paper should have clarified that, as well.
Boy was I wrong. We get into Theatre class....everybody is anticipating...only to find out she got rid of Crimes of the Heart.
Instead comes this BS play "Nine Girls"; obviously a play filled with all women. A mystery about a soroity (spelling? **** it) or some crap.
Well..........come to find out me, Lindsey, and our friend Brittney were three out of the nine who didn't get cast into Almost, Maine. So now we have to be in this goddamn play filled with the majority of ****ty people who don't even care all that much about it.
WE wanted Almost,Maine so much!!! Sorry that we don't look like we'd be damn funny or anything, but goddammit I CAN BE FUNNY!! HA HA HA LAUGH! Seriously!!! I am SO SICK of the favoritism in this ****ing class!! I mean, people who didn't even WANT to be in Almost,Maine are in it!!! PLUS!! The Seniors that are supposed to be helping are class with directing and what not are IN THE PLAY!!
It's ****ing ridiculous!!! I mean, give me soem goddamn feedback if you're going to put me in the "i'm just going to throw **** together" play!!! ****ING. RIDICULOUS!
I think I'm done....for now. Gimme a few days, I'll probably come back with a vengence.
Yeah I'm pretty pissed too. As you know, no one else even auditioned for Ginnette. And I KNOW I didn't suck. I guess you gotta be a bubble-headed bitch to get a good part in a play.
