So I'm in this awesome ass play called Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, better known as Alice in Wonderland [AIW]. The play is...was...March fourth. Now it's on the fifth cause some bull crap play that performed in DECEMBER must perform twice. So they had to take our date. We now share a date with a one-act. They said the one-act was going to be the opening. Our teacher perty much said that the one-act, called An Actor's Nightmare[AAN], will be the intro. Like a local band is an intro to a nation wide famous band. In short, she pretty much said that AAN wasn't as good as AIW.
AAAND! On top of that, we have people in our play who don't even give a damn! They have simple but amazing parts, and they half-ass it the entire time!! Some of the people I like as a person...but I think I might murder them as an actor. Furthermore! -coughs- Yeah.
I'm the Dum to Lauryn's Dee :P. It is so embarrassing to know 100% that we will overshadow everyone else, including our whiney Alice (She only has one voice setting while acting which is of course whiney.)
About half of our characters do not know most of their lines. And when they DO know the line, it sounds like they are on crack. Yes, it's just a line check but PEOPLE!
Sigh... for those who can come see us...
Play is March 5th in the cafeteria at Dutchtown High. Come see the massacre.

Had a rehearsal today. Pretty good turn out but, what was it, 3 people didn't show? One of em got into a wreck, and the guy is just a loser. Our Mock Turtle (if you've only seen the Disney version, you wouldn't know this character. he's in other movies) just didn't show.
Not too bad though. And our super-prep still doesn't know her lines. She's the king. Our poor director... Director: "I want you to say it like this *Does fantastic characterization*" Idiot: "....... ....... ....... what?"
